After advanced training at Christian Medical College, Vellore, and earning his MCh in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery from the renowned Sree Chitra Thirunal Institute, Kerala, he quickly established himself as a surgeon of exceptional skill.

In 2003, he made history by performing Chhattisgarh’s first-ever open-heart surgery, and later, in Sri Lanka, he led the nation’s first successful double-lung transplant. Back in India, as Medical Director at Medanta Indore, he launched Central India’s first heart transplant program and achieved world-class outcomes in beating-heart coronary bypass surgery, exceeding international standards.
